I was glade that I did not buy the 14 inch tool. This is big enough - at 24 pounds to hold the tool while cutting a vertical wall. Definately has some kick to it. I use it with a 12 inch diamond blade. For a floor cut to change the plumbing I first cut 1 inch deep while following my line. Then on the second pass cut the full thickness - 4 inches.
