All I can say is that this particular tool has come in REAL handy in the month that I've owned it. From cutting through wood with nails (deck expansion) to cutting off LARGE branches from a tree(s) that fell in my yard after a storm (and onto my car!), this tool has been used extensively. The battery life of the 3 amp hour lithium ion battery is amazing! The durability of the saw is impressive in that most of the environments I've used it in have been dirty and wet, yet the saw works like it did when it was new. Only it's transformer looks now have blended in with the dirt. I actually like the looks of the drill ...
