I've been using this drive for 2 weeks and it works fine. It formatted as a single, 3 TB partition without any problems on my Linux machine, and I transferred 2 TB of data without a hitch.I took off one star for the huge, obnoxious drive-access light, which flasehs "HITACHI" in bright white glowing letters. (Whoever thought this up should be forced to stare at it for hours.) Tip: use black P-Touch labeler tape to cover the whole logo except the final "I", and it looks like a normal LED.
