I would have rated this saw at 4 1/2 stars if that option was available. I purchased the original model a long time ago(10+ years) when I was a GC and my crew used this saw every day and it never went in the shop as still runs today but it was showing its wear so I decided to buy a new saw. I looked at the 10" and 12" but decided to go back to a proven entity. The major difference is the addition of the laser and the light but it still has the dual rails which I think is the key for these tools to maintain its accuracy.
